The Doctoral Thesis “Evaluation of daily rhythms in feeding pattern and digestive functions in Senegalese sole larvae Solea senegalensis” was defended by Carmen Navarro Guillén last Tuesday 13rd December at the University of Cádiz. The Thesis was carried out in the Institute for Marine Sciences of Andalucía (CSIC) under the supervision of Dr. Manuel Yúfera (ICMAN-CSIC) and Dra. Sofia Engrola (CCMAR, Portugal). The Dissertation committee was formed by Dr. Berd Ueberschaer, chair (GMA Gesellshaft für Marine Aquakultur, Germany), Dr. Manuel Díaz (University of Almería, Spain), and Dr. Juan Miguel Mancera (University of Cádiz, Spain). The dissertation was qualified as outstanding cum laude and obtained the European Doctorate Mention Ph. D.
