ICT Services

The ICT Services of the ICMAN are responsible for management of the Institute’s voice and data networks, its servers, security devices and data storage systems. The service operates within the regulatory framework of the CSIC for the use of computer and related resources.

The following is a more detailed list of some of the services provided:

Electronic mail: accounts, distribution lists and webmail of the domains “ icman.csic.es” and “csic.es”.
Access to the network of the ICMAN (servers, electronic journals, etc.).
Advising on the acquisition of computer and related equipment.
Installation and support of personal computers.
Distribution of software via the network.
Management of the web servers and of applications (real and virtual machines).
Providing information by means of guides and seminars on the various services and applications.
Bulk data storage in the ICMAN.
